Acrylic, also called pmma, is a non-toxic and environmentally friendly material. The chemical name is polymethyl methacrylate. It is an important plastic polymer material that has been developed earlier. It has good transparency, chemical stability and weather resistance, easy to dye, easy to process, and is beautiful in appearance. It is used in the construction industry. Has a wide range of applications. Plexiglass products can usually be divided into cast plates, extruded plates and molding compounds.

Acrylic products include acrylic sheets, acrylic plastic pellets, acrylic light boxes, signboards, acrylic bathtubs, acrylic artificial marble, acrylic resin, acrylic (latex) paint, acrylic adhesives, etc., with a wide variety of products. Commonly seen acrylic products are acrylic products assembled from raw materials such as acrylic pellets, plates, or resins through various processing methods, combined with various parts of different materials and functions.

ABS resin is one of the five major synthetic resins, usually light yellow or milky white granular non-crystalline resin. Its impact resistance, heat resistance, low-temperature resistance, chemical resistance and electrical properties are excellent. It also has the characteristics of easy processing, stable product size, and good surface gloss. It is easy to paint and color, and it can also be sprayed on the surface. Secondary processing such as metal, electroplating, welding, hot pressing and bonding is widely used in machinery, automobiles, electronic appliances, instrumentation, textiles and construction and other industrial fields. It is a thermoplastic engineering plastic with a wide range of uses.

The difference between acrylic and ABS:

1. Acrylic is a bit more expensive, but acrylic white is more gorgeous, and the ABS material is not delicate and shiny. And acrylic is not easy to change color, and the color of ABS will turn yellow after a long time.

2. Acrylic is more brittle than ABS, and ABS is a bit softer than acrylic.

3. Moreover, the melting point of acrylic is 40 degrees higher than that of ABS material, and it has stronger heat resistance.

Acrylic bathtub:

Advantages: made of organic materials, rich in shape, light in weight, good finish, cheaper in cost, and better in heat preservation.

Disadvantages: the ability to withstand high temperatures is relatively poor, the pressure resistance is not very good, it is not wear-resistant, and the surface is easy to be stained by hard objects, but it is also easy to repair.
