There is another way that you may have seen in the bathroom of the hotel. A stone is laid in the middle of the shower room. There is a pull joint on the stone to make a diversion groove. The drainage is concave around. The floor drain should be at the lowest point.
Of course, this practice has limitations. First of all, the floor drain must be located to the side. If the downpipe of the house itself is not on the side, it needs to be changed when doing water and electricity. If the location of the downpipe is changed, if the water and electricity workers forget to consider the installation depth of the floor drain, it is likely that the odor proof floor drain will not be installed. The depth of the drainage pipe should be at least 6 cm or more, which can exceed 12 cm. Of course, it is best. After all, odor proof is very important.
Water retaining strip
Whether it's glass partition or shower curtain, I think the water bar is needed. Even if I use the shower curtain, the water bar can solve a large part of the water overflow problem, and to a certain extent, keep the floor dry in other places of the toilet.
Generally speaking, there are two ways of water retaining strip. One is self built. This kind of strip is usually made of shower curtain, and it has a more selective style, which is suitable for pastoral, Mediterranean and other styles.
Another way is to directly buy finished products of the water bar, generally artificial stone or other materials, glass shower partition basically use this. It's better to bury the tiles in the middle when laying tiles, so that the water retaining effect will be better. If it is later with glass glue on the tiles, a long time may seep.
